A 43-year-old man drowned in Chesapeake Bay on Sunday after being caught in the act, police said.
Maryland Natural Resources Police officers responded to a call at about 12:30 a.m. in Sandy Point State Park after the man jumped into the bay to cool off and was swept away, a police spokesman said.
