WICHITA, Can. (KWCH) – After some flooding in recent days, much of the state will see drier weather and sunshine over the next few days. It won’t be that long, but at least to end the week, south-central and eastern Kansas will have drier conditions.
The sky will clear across the country at night. Low temperatures will drop to 40 in early Thursday. The maximum afternoon hours will be until the 70’s with light wind.
Some rain may occur on Friday morning in far southwest Kansas, but much of the state will have dry weather throughout the day. Maximum temperatures will be around 80 with a southern breeze.
More storms are expected on Saturday, but the risk of severe weather is low. Concerns will be for some areas with heavy rainfall. This will be the beginning of several more chances for rain in the coming days. There is still rain on the road on Sunday night and next week. This could help alleviate drought conditions in western Kansas.
