We already have a window for the release of Final Fantasy 16: Summer 2023. It is planned to be released on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Unveiled at today’s Sony State of Play event, Final Fantasy 16 also received a new trailer, the first look at the gameplay after previous cinemas.
During this gameplay trailer called “Domination”, we took a good look at how the battle will unfold, as well as some new details about the world of Valisthea. There was also a significant focus on summoning, showing battles with Titan, Shiva, Ifrit and others.
“Hopefully with this visualization, you’ve all gotten a better idea of what the actual gameplay will involve – namely, high-octane battles with our protagonist Clive Rosfield, with a full arsenal of attacks unique to many Eikon (summons ) in the game, “producer Yoshida Naoki said in a post on the PlayStation blog, published after the state of the game. “Not to mention the epic clashes between the Eikons themselves that got you into action.
Final Fantasy XVI – Game Status June 2022
Final Fantasy 16 was first announced for the PS5 last September, at which time it was also initially announced for the PC, but was withdrawn – as if it were a kind of exclusive version at the time. The game had already completed its “main development” by October, and since then we have received more details about its characters, world and history, as well as the six areas in which it develops.
Yoshida confirmed in a blog post that Final Fantasy 16 is now “fully playable from start to finish”, although the development team still faces a number of challenges in the final section.
