Everything announced in Sony’s PlayStation State of Play

PlayStation status is complete! In case you missed it, here’s everything announced during the broadcast, including all the trailers (if you were hoping to watch God of War Ragnarök, it may come as no surprise that it didn’t hit).

State of Play kicks off with the announcement of one of the worst kept secrets in all video games: the remake of Resident Evil 4. Along with a new trailer below that shows the game running on PlayStation 5, we got a release date: March 24, 2023 d. Oh, yes, the “content” of PSVR2 is also under development. Its plot is rethought somewhat and also comes on PC and Xbox Series X / S.

The PSVR2 theme continued with a trailer for the PSVR2 version of Resident Evil Village. Lady D in VR? It’s Capcom that gives fans what they want. Here is the trailer:

The next one for PSVR2 is The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners Ch2:

Hello Games has a PSVR2 version of No Man’s Sky in progress:

And, as expected, we saw a new trailer for Guerrilla and Firesprite’s Horizon PSVR2, Call of the Mountain (Guerrilla also announced that the New Game Plus update for Forbidden West is coming out today).

After pressing PSVR2, Sony briefly shifted its focus to the PC, confirming that the PC version of Insomniac’s Spider-Man will be released on August 12, 2022. Subsequently, we also heard confirmation that Miles Morales will follow. Here is the trailer:

Released by Annapurna Stray will be released on July 19 and will also come as part of the higher levels of PlayStation Plus.

State of Play debuted a trailer for the survival horror game, similar to Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol, and we got a release date: December 2, 2022.

Continuing, we have a trailer for Rollerdrome, which should be released on August 16:

Here is the trailer for the anime action game / dating simulator Eternights, which should be released in early 2023.

Here’s a big one: State of Play saw that Capcom showed Street Fighter 6, which revealed a new character Jamie along with Ryu, Chun-Li and Luke. There’s a look at the battle center, which looks like a Metro City survey and a launch window in 2023. Capcom subsequently confirmed that PC and Xbox Series X / S versions are also on the way.
