The long-awaited third season of the boys has just landed on Amazon Prime and is already bringing out the big guns.
Actress “Crazy Max: The Road to Rage” Charlize Theron appears as a cameo in the first episode of the season, playing Aya Cash’s Stormfront in a movie they’re making in a universe called “Dawn of Seven.”
Digital Spy spoke with showrunner Eric Kripke to find out how they made this A-list cameo. It turns out that Theron had no idea how big the cameo would be.
“She really did it as a favor to Seth Rogen because they just did a Long Shot together,” Kripke said. “I really feel bad. I think she thought it would be like, “Oh, I have to go in two hours and do something.”

Kripke revealed that they had built a complex set for the stage and that they had to completely redesign the super costume because Theron is taller than Cash.
She said yes. And we immediately had to mount it for the super suit and design the super suit around it, because it is much taller than Aya Cash. So we had to redesign the super suit, “he said.
“We filmed her role in Los Angeles. Part of this scene was shot in Los Angeles. But then we really had to attract her – I think she thought she would stand in front of a green screen and say a couple of lines and that’s it. And we had built this whole set. “
“I think she showed up that day and said, ‘Oh my God, this is going to be my whole day,'” he admitted.

By the way, Theron had just appeared as a cameo role as Clea in Marvel’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which Kripke saw as a bonus.
“I just saw the Dr. Strange thing,” he added. “It just made me shake hands with joy, because it just shows how perfect it is for us – that’s something Marvel does, too.”
Boys Seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch entirely on Amazon Prime Video. The premiere of season 3 is on June 3.
