(Pocket-lint) – Microsoft will enter the All-In Pride Month with the launch of Xbox’s new controller designs that celebrate the LGBTQIA + community.
The company annoyed an early version of the controller last year and gave some to several LGBTQIA + players and creators around the world. Xbox is now expanding the design of the controller. As of June 9, 2022, Microsoft promises to offer more controllers through the Xbox Design Lab. The controller will feature an upper body design with 34 different community flags “in a subtle, intertwined way to celebrate the nuance, complexity, intersection and strength of the many LGBTQIA + communities”.

Here’s what the site says about the new product:
“You can customize all the other parts of the controller with a wide color palette, metal coatings, rubber handles and even add engraving to make your Pride controller unique to you.”
Also for Pride, Xbox Gear Shop offers the Pride 2022 collection, and Xbox itself donates $ 170,000 to LGBTQIA + non-profit organizations. For more information on what Microsoft and its Xbox brand are doing for June, also known as Pride, see the blog post of the Redmond-based company here.
