Royal fans and music lovers went crazy while Queen and Adam Lambert performed the classic hit We Will Rock You. Brian May unexpectedly appeared at the top of the stage – which caused the partygoers in the audience.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted applauding from the front row, sitting with their children, Princess Charlotte and her older brother Prince George.
On Twitter, people at home shared their thoughts on the amazing event, with one person writing, “The view is brilliant.”
“I’m sorry, but Adam Lambert has nothing for Freddie Mercury,” added a second.
A third said: “Adam Lambert is a good singer, but no one can compare him to Freddie. Maybe one of the best voices and talents ever. Very big shoes that can never be filled.”
