One of the villagers, affected by two heavy-duty trailers parked in the back of their property, said they were working out a “Plan B” to stay there.
Sandra Ashmore and Claire O’Brien of Gist, near Dereham, witnessed Carl Lakes set up two heavy-duty trailers in a field behind their homes on May 30.

Both neighbors say they spoke to Mr Lakes, who was friendly when he explained his plans to turn the trailers into a shed.
Ms O’Brien said on Saturday that although “nothing has changed” regarding the location of the trailers, they are still hoping Mr Lakes will agree to move them.
She said: “It’s out of our hands, we did everything we could. All our faith is now in Breckland (Council).

“I understand that no one has the right to look, but there must be a little attention to everyone.
“We will have a plan B. We are looking at some hedges and a few tall trees, but ideally we want [the trailers] removed. “
A spokesman for the Breckland council said they were investigating the matter. The spokesman said: “If a breach of planning control is identified, we will determine the most appropriate way to deal with it.
“However, we are still assessing the situation and it is too early to say whether any planning rules have been violated.
