An illegal rave in the Cornish swamps continues for its third day, with several hundred people still on the scene, according to police.
Thousands of partygoers arrived at the site on the Friday before the anniversary weekend. Residents complained of loud noise and music playing all night near Davidstowe Moore, near Camelford.
According to police in Devon and Cornwall on Sunday, some people were rejected and the forces threatened to act against the organizers. Officials said the event covered a large area and estimated that several hundred people were still present.
The photos show revelers sheltering in cars as rain turns the ground to mud. Hundreds of vehicles were spotted on roads on all sides of the site, and it is believed that some of those present came from Scotland and Oxford.
“Many people left this morning, and others who tried to enter were rejected,” the force said. “In the interest of public safety, we ask anyone who intends to attend the event not to do so.
“[We] we would like to reassure local communities and the general public that we take this issue seriously and, where appropriate, will seek to take action against those who attend and manage the event. “

Colin Cowdery, who lives nearby, said he could not sleep because of the “absolutely awful” noise.
He told the BBC on Sunday: “We called the police around 8.30 pm last night and from around 10 pm we kicked people out of the garden and off the ground. Drunkards from Scotland, Liverpool, Brighton, London, everywhere – it was just complete chaos. “
Kate O’Kurney, who lives in the nearby town of Delabole, told Cornwall Live: “I sleep lightly, so I listened to it all night. In fact, it’s stronger now than it was at midnight. I’m not a killer and I love seeing people have fun. My only concern is that there are hundreds of sheep and horses upstairs. They must be very traumatized. “
