Investigators have named a 54-year-old man who was shot and killed at a restaurant in Toronto early Sunday morning.
Around 3:47 a.m., police were called to the Caribbean Love Restaurant and Bar at 1602 Eglinton Avenue West for firing signals.
Investigators said there was a gathering at the establishment in which at least two men were involved in an altercation.
One man pulled out a firearm and shot the other man, seriously injuring him.
He was rushed to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
On Monday, police identified the victim as Michael Barnes of Toronto.
