A Maryland police officer was shot and treated for life-threatening injuries on Saturday.
A police officer was shot dead in Towson after answering a call at a residential complex at 8:40 p.m., when they came across an armed suspect, according to Fox Baltimore.
Police officers exchanged shootings with the suspect, in which one police officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was pronounced dead after the shooting, according to the report.
Police also found a man in the life-threatening apartment who was taken to hospital.

According to the report, Baltimore County Executive Director Johnny Olszewski said the police officer must fully recover.
