A woman was raped in downtown Bristol three months ago

A woman was raped near the center of Bristol almost three months ago, police revealed for the first time. The attack happened at 9 pm on Thursday, March 17, after police announced that the offender had met the victim on Stapleton Road in Easton.

Detectives have now released two CCTV images of a man they hope could help them with the investigation. Police said the offender and the victim left Stapleton Road for Newfoundland Road Bridge, where he then attacked her.

Officials said they believe the man in the CCTV image they have now released may have information that could help their investigation. He is shown on CCTV with a snake-style ring on his finger, a black coat and a black hat with a logo on the front.
