Police called for information after a man received serious head injuries in an attack on the Jubilee Weekend in Exmouth. The man was attacked by a group of other men and hit on the head with a glass bottle.
Emergency services were called after receiving reports of a man who was seriously injured after a “quarrel” that occurred between The Strand and St Andrews Road around 11:30 pm on Saturday, June 4. The victim, a local man in his 50s, was reportedly attacked by a group of men and suffered a head injury believed to be caused by a glass bottle.
He was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment and later released. A temporary police cordon has been set up near the area of the attack.

A police spokesman said: “No arrests have been made so far. We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area late on Saturday, June 4, and who may have information that could help with the investigation.
