Microsoft has announced that it will have a second Xbox Games Showcase, which will be released just two days after the main launch on June 12.
Xbox Games Showcase Extended will be held on June 14, starting at 10:00 PT. A new post on the Xbox Wire blog promises new trailers, more in-depth insights into the news revealed as part of the main showcase of Xbox and Bethesda Games, and interviews with developers. The show will run for 90 minutes, so there’s an hour and a half to add to your non-E3 calendar.
As always, IGN will cover everything, so expect full details here for both the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, as well as the newly announced extended series. This will be the second year in a row that the Xbox has made an expanded showcase; last year, just days after the main showcase, the Xbox showed more from Hellblade 2, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 and many more. If this year’s expanded showcase is just as full, then we can have some exciting additional news.
For everything else during this period, see our 2022 Summer Games schedule, which will help you move forward over the next few weeks. There are 13 more shows ahead, so there are certainly a lot of announcements along the way.
