Police are in the area of Princess Drive and Liverpool Road in Knowsley after a serious accident. Police said they are currently closing the road.
According to the Inrix traffic management system, the crash happened near Lordens Road in Huyton around 3:30 p.m. It says Princess Drive Southbound is currently blocked and has slow traffic due to the crash near Lordens Road.
A spokesman for the Knowsley branch of Merseyside Police said: “We are currently witnessing a serious road collision in the area of Princess Drive and Liverpool Road.
