The first cruise ship to arrive in St. John in several years will drop anchor over the weekend.
Ocean Endeavor, with nearly 200 passengers, is due to arrive on Sunday.
Councilor Debbie Hanlon, the city’s representative for the cruise industry, says 30 ships from 15 cruise lines should arrive from now until October.
All passengers and crew visiting St. John’s must be fully vaccinated. They must also show evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 to 72 hours of boarding a cruise ship.
There will be limited parking on the harbor shore during cruise ship visits.
