Rescuers are searching for two people who went missing after a boat capsized in South Devon.
Police said five people were rescued from Lake Roadford near Okehampton. Three were discharged by paramedics on the spot, and two were taken to Derifd Hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown.
The emergency services were called around 13.30. Numerous agencies were stationed, including police, fire, ambulance, air ambulance, coast guard and search and rescue teams.
Police said all the people in the boat were elderly and believed to be locals in Devon, and their loved ones had been informed. A statement said: “The boat is safe and the scene is being run by police. A closure of the road has been introduced at the activity center to allow access to the relevant services. “
The 730-acre lake, a 1989 reservoir, is often used for kayaking, canoeing, rowing and sailing.
