A man has died and a woman is in custody after several vehicles collided in Brampton.

It happened on Main Street North and Vodden Street East around 8:20 p.m.

Peel Regional Police said four vehicles were involved. The man was taken to a life-threatening hospital, but died shortly afterwards, police said.

There are no data on other victims of the accident.

A woman was detained in connection with the clash, but police did not immediately say why.
