Detectives and detectives are at the scene of the shooting in Merseyside.
Police were called to the Arrowe Park Pub in Woodchurch after reports that three men rushed to the pub to hide. The men allegedly shouted that they had been shot at by a car.
A large cordon was quickly set up as police combed Arrowe Park Road. It is unclear whether police found evidence of the shootings, but detectives remain at the scene.

A separate cordon down Church Lane, just behind the shops, is still in place. Customers who left the pub around 9pm told ECHO people that they “ran inside and said they had been shot”.
There are no reports of injuries. This is the third reported shooting in three days in Merseyside, with shots fired at the house of Mill Lane, Wavertray, on Tuesday, June 7, and Springvale Close, in Kirkby, on Monday, June 6.
It is not yet clear if all the shootings were related, but police said they believe the shooting was targeted. A Merseyside police spokesman said yesterday that an 18-year-old man from Wavertray had been arrested on suspicion of possession of a Section 5 firearm and possession of a Class B drug (cannabis). He has been detained for questioning.
This happened after police were called to the area at the intersection of Mill Lane with Deverell Road in Wavertree shortly after 6:10 p.m. This was followed by a report that four men in dark clothes and with their faces covered were chasing each other on a bicycle and a scooter when they shot themselves.
Shortly afterwards, around 7:10 p.m., police were called to a Mill Lane property, where they found damage to the window of a house corresponding to a shot fired. Officers continue to appeal for information, said Detective Inspector Kat Walsh. to come forward at all.
“We also urge anyone with video surveillance, control camera or recording on other devices to take the time to check if they have taken pictures that could help us find those responsible. It is completely reckless to shoot a gun in a residential street like this, and we are happy that no one was hurt. “
Speaking about the Kirkby shooting, Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Wilson reiterated the importance of people sharing information and said: “We are at a very early stage in this investigation. We want to talk to all the witnesses or anyone who has any information. We understand the fear that gun crimes cause, and I would like to assure the community that we believe that this is a targeted attack, one that we are carefully investigating.
“Firearms have no place on the streets of Merseyside, and we remain committed to removing them and the people who choose to carry them. It is absolutely vital that we get all the information from those communities that are feeling the impact of gun crimes so that we can bring those responsible to justice.
“It happened in a residential area and there will probably be people who may have witnessed the incident or who is responsible. I would urge anyone who was at Springvale Close last night and saw something or someone suspicious to contact the police.
“Similarly, if you have driven in the area and have footage from the dashboard, please review it and tell us if you see anything. The information you hold may be vital to our investigation.
“Shooting a gun in a residential street is extremely reckless and dangerous and could have led to more tragic circumstances. So if you know anything, please tell us and we will take action against the perpetrators. “
