James Carroll, the Brookside actor, has died

“Brookside” and “Coronation Street” actor James Carroll has died, his friends on social media confirmed on Thursday.

The actor and actor is best known for playing Brian ‘Bumper’ Humphreys in the Channel 4 soap between 1988 and 1991.

James – known to his friends as Jim – lived in a terminal condition. He had recorded a YouTube interview about his experiences.

He previously suffered from pneumonia in early 2020, but has fully recovered.

James’ last acting appearance was on Corornation Street in January, where he played an actor named Bob vs. Mary Taylor (Patty Clare). James, who lived in Preston, Lancashire, is believed to have died suddenly.
