Britney Spears’ ex-husband broke up

LOS ANGELIS –

Britney Spears married longtime partner Sam Asgari in a ceremony in Southern California that came months after the pop superstar won her freedom from judicial mentoring.

Asgari spokesman Brandon Cohen confirmed the couple’s wedding. He said: “I am very excited that this day has come and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long. He is so caring and supportive every step of the way. ”

The wedding took place nine months after the couple got engaged and almost seven months after Spears’ mentorship ended. As she sought an end to a lawsuit that controlled many aspects of her life, Spears expressed her desire to marry Asgari and have children.

Spears became pregnant earlier this year, but suffered a miscarriage in March.

The couple met on the set of the music video “Slumber Party” in 2016.

The wedding day was not without unexpected drama – Spears’ first husband was arrested after trying to break up their wedding.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Captain Cameron Henderson said officers responded to a call for an intrusion after 2 p.m. on Thursday. He says pop singer Jason Alexander’s first husband was detained at the ceremony.

Henderson says Alexander was arrested after officers noticed he had an arrest warrant in another county.

Alexander entered his Instagram live as he approached the security of the event. In what looked like an almost empty but decorated room, he told them that Spears had invited him.

“She is my first wife, my only wife,” said Alexander, who was briefly married to Spears, his childhood friend, in 2014. Their marriage lasted only 55 hours.

Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, ages 14 and 15.
