A sentencing hearing for Jacob Hogard is scheduled for October

A Ontario judge has scheduled a sentencing hearing in October in the case of sexually assaulting musician Jacob Hogard.

A court jury found Hadley’s frontman guilty of sexually assaulting an Ottawa woman last Sunday.

Hogard was found not guilty of the same crime against a teenage fan.

The 37-year-old musician pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault with bodily harm – one related to each applicant – and one charge of sexual interference, an indictment relating to sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age.

During the trial, prosecutors allege that Hogard repeatedly raped the two applicants in separate incidents in the autumn of 2016. They also allege that he touched the teenager after a Hadley concert in April 2016, when she was 15 years old. .

The defense claims that the palpation never took place and that Hoghard had sex by mutual consent with each of the applicants.

His sentence is scheduled for October 6.
