A director of Credit Suisse was fired after being filmed attacking waiters at a Korean restaurant because they refused to allow him to use the bathroom after he stumbled drunk at 2am.
Roman Campbell was fired from his job at the bank’s media and information services this week after footage of the incident was shared on social media by the restaurant owner’s daughter.
The alumni of Columbia University told the New York Post on Saturday that he did not think he had done anything wrong and that he had been “provoked” by one of the waiters “sticking his thumb”.
The damn footage shows him arriving at Shanghai Mong, an Asian fusion restaurant in the Korean Quarter, on Saturday, June 4 at 1.52am and insisting he be allowed inside to use the bathroom.
At first, the woman who owned the restaurant politely told him that the toilets were for customers only.

When she pulled out her phone, he pulled it out of her hand and then stormed into the back of the restaurant.
A Spanish-speaking waiter who tried to stop him was hit and eventually bled to death.
The owner’s daughter posted footage of the incident on TikTok and Instagram, asking the public to help find it.
She told DailyMail.com on Saturday that her mother was suffering from back pain after being pushed by Campbell.
“Everyone in the restaurants is doing well. My mother’s back hurt for a few days because she was pushed by Roman.
– They pushed her into some clothes hangers behind our stand. The waiter is fine, but his forehead is bruised after a blow and his finger has scabs that heal.

“My mother and the waiter are being treated mentally now because it was very traumatic for them,” she said.
In her first post about the incident, she said: “My parents work 7 days a week and have not taken a vacation for 6 years.
“When the cops came, they just talked to the man and left. The waiter’s forehead was bleeding after the man hit his head.
“He grabbed my mother’s phone to break it and was not charged for anything,” she said.
