Gavin Newsom calls Chesa Boudin’s reminder “predictable”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom called the resignation of the uber-awakened San Francisco District Attorney Cesa Budin “predictable” and said the issue did not deserve the widespread national coverage sparked by the vote.

“It was so predictable, predictable, especially after the school board was withdrawn,” News told FOX 11 Los Angeles, referring to the withdrawal attempts in February that removed the city’s three far-left school council commissioners.

“I thought the understanding was a little startling,” he added.

“I think the problem in San Francisco, in particular, is that people want the streets cleaned, period. Point. That’s enough, “Newsham continued.

“They want the streets cleaned. They want a sense of order from the chaos they experience on the streets. ”

Newsham acknowledged that Democrats, who dominate California’s state and local government, are responsible for uncontrolled vagrancy and violent street crime, but said the problem affects cities across the country – including those run by Republicans.

Newsom himself survived a retreat attempt last year, which was also fueled by concerns about quality of life and frustration with the state’s overwhelming restrictions on the country’s coronavirus – which many public polls across the country, including Newsham, often ignored.
