During a monologue covering the first hearing on January 6, Jimmy Kimmel intervened in the Republican administration, which was before Donald Trump’s.
The host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” opened his Friday show in response to the views of the elected committee of the House of Representatives of the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
The committee focused on events involving Trump and people in his orbit. But Kimmel used the hearing as an opportunity to beat Dick Cheney, a former vice president of George W. Bush.
The comedian released a video of Vice President Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) Reading an email sent by a lawyer for former Vice President Mike Pence to a lawyer who is supporting Trump’s efforts to cancel the 2020 election.
“Thanks to your bulls, we’re under siege,” Cheney read aloud.
“Who would have thought that Dick Cheney’s daughter would be our last hope for democracy,” Kimmel joked.
″[It] is exactly what innocent people do, they do everything possible to get away from it. ”
