A man is in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in the torso in downtown Toronto early Tuesday morning.
Toronto police say they were called in for a Yonge Street stabbing incident between Wellesley and Dundonald streets at 1:18 a.m.
They arrived and found an unconscious naked man lying on the street, with a stab wound to the upper torso.
Police said that after he started fighting with the first aid teams, he was later rushed to hospital in serious condition.
No suspicious information was provided.
Police say the victim did not cooperate with investigators.
