Apple updated its entry-level iPad last September. Now a new online report suggests the company plans to update again. The original iPad currently sells for $ 329 (Rs 25,679) and is the company’s most affordable iPad. According to a report by 9to5Mac, Apple now plans to update its most affordable entry-level iPad. The report claims that the technology giant is working on including a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port in its 10th generation iPad. With this update, all iPad models will now have a USB-C port. The inclusion of USB-C will benefit users as it supports faster transfer speeds and will also make it easier for users to connect the iPad to external displays. The report also suggests that, according to reports, the entry-level iPad will have a Retina display with the same resolution as the iPad Air. Currently, the 9th generation iPad has a 10.2-inch LCD display. The display size of the upcoming iPad will increase to 10.9 inches. The 10th generation iPad is expected to be powered by Apple’s own A14 Bionic chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the 4th generation iPad Air. Compared to the current entry-level iPad, which is powered by the A13, the upcoming iPad will run 30% faster thanks to the inclusion of the A14 Bionic chipset. Apple is also working to include 5G network support in iPad cellular models.
