Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 5 will be his next game after The Elder Scrolls 6

When we last heard about Fallout 5, it was little more than a “one-page” idea in Bethesda that may or may not materialize; however, studio director Todd Howard has already confirmed that a new entry into the favorite Fallout series is definitely happening, but will not come out until after The Elder Scrolls 6.

In an interview with IGN, Howard revealed that The Elder Scrolls 6 is currently in preparation (confirming previous rumors about the progress of the project), before adding: “And, you know, we’ll do Fallout 5 after that, so our Slate is quite full for a while. We have other projects that we review from time to time. ”

In other words, after Bethesda’s next big title, Sci-fi RPG Starfield, was postponed until next year and there is still no word on a potential window for the release of The Elder Scrolls 6 – although the game received its first official tease in 2018. It sounds like there will be an extremely long wait until Fallout 5 finally sees the light of day.

Starfield – Official unveiling of the game.

There’s a lot more chatter about all of Bethesda’s things in IGN’s conversation with Howard, though, not surprisingly, Starfield is his main focus. Howard revealed, for example, that the main mission of the game will take about 30-40 hours to complete, and that despite boasting 1,000 studied, procedurally generated planets, Starfield will include more handmade content than in any previous Bethesda game. . This will include four major cities, with New Atlantis being said to be the largest city the developer has ever built.

Howard’s spending spending continues the trend of constantly loosening his lips for Starfield after the unveiling of his game at the Xbox Showcase this weekend. Shortly after this revelation, for example, Bethesda confirmed that Starfield’s dialogue scenes will be presented in first person all the time and that the protagonist will not be voiced.

Starfield is expected to launch early next year.
