In what is essentially an announcement of his retirement from football, veteran corner veteran Richard Sherman has officially joined the production of Amazon Thursday Night Football.
Sherman joins Tony Gonzalez’s Hall of Fame as the two officially announced analysts on the pre-match, half-time and post-match broadcasts on Thursday night. Ryan Fitzpatrick will also be added, and Fox’s Charissa Thompson will host.
The crew before, half and after the game will travel to each game site.
Sherman plays for the Seahawks, 49ers and Buccaneers. Although he has not officially said that he has finished the game, this development probably means that the door is closed for his career.
