Everton will start the first full season of Frank Lampard, who responds with a hit match from the Good League of Goodison Park against the former club of the Chelsea manager.
The match on Saturday, August 6, is scheduled for 5.30 pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Everton include five games in the first month of the season – before the first derby of Merseyside for the 2022/23 season to be held on September 3 in Goodison.
Lampard takes his side at Aston Villa for Everton’s first away game on Saturday, August 13.
Next week, Saturday, August 20, is the first meeting with Nottingham Forest since January 1999, when Steve Cooper led his new team to L4.

And Everton are ready to play on Forrest City for the first time in almost a quarter of a century, when manager Cooper’s team hosts the Blues on Saturday, March 4.
Everton ends August with consecutive road matches; against Brentford on Saturday, 27 and three days later in Leeds on Tuesday, 30.
A unique program for the upcoming campaign includes a break of more than six weeks for the World Cup, which begins on November 21.
Everton’s last match before the match in Qatar is as a guest against Bournemouth on Saturday, November 12.
Lampard’s team returned to action on Boxing Day when the Wolverhampton Wanderers traveled to Goodison.
Everton go to the champions Manchester City on New Year’s Eve and start 2023 with a home game against Brighton and Hove Albion on January 2.
The rematch of the Merseyside derby at Anfield is on the calendar for Saturday, February 11.
Promotion of 10 games between April 1 and May 28 ends the season, with Everton finishing at home against Bournemouth, back in the Premier League after a two-year absence.
Meanwhile, Fulham returned to the league after a year away, and Everton went to Craven Cottage on Saturday, October 29. The team from south-west London will take place in Goodison on Saturday, April 15.
The meeting with Chelsea is a quick resumption of hostilities after Everton beat the London club in a tense race for Goodison on May 1.
Indeed, Chelsea have been released from their last four visits to this corner of Merseyside.
Two matches in the original calendar will probably be moved back 24 hours. Everton’s visit to Arsenal is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, and Manchester United, under the new leadership of Eric ten Haag, should be at Goodison on Saturday, October 8.
However, these matches are prepared for Sunday to meet the Europa League matches for Arsenal and United in the previous Thursdays.
