Montreal is hit by a strong thunderstorm as the system moves through southern Quebec, which could even bring tornadoes to some areas.
It is raining heavily in the city and there is hail.

- Lawrence
- Mont-Lorie
- Mont-Tremblant Park – Saint Michel de Saint
- Pontiac
- Gorno Gatineau – Liève – Papino
Severe thunderstorm warnings apply to:
- Metro Montreal – Laval
- Drummondville – Bois-Francs
- Gatineau
- Lachute – Saint-Jérôme
- Lanodier
- Maurice
- Mont-Lorie
- Quebec
- Sage
- Gorno Gatineau – Liève – Papino
- Vaudroy – Sulangge – Huntingdon
Residents can also expect strong gusts of wind.

The agency says it will monitor the Outaouais region in particular, as well as the Laurentians and the north coast of Montreal.

Residents of Ottawa and eastern Ontario are advised to monitor the weather warnings, as meteorologists warn that weather conditions will provide “significant ingredients” for a “likely tornado.”
