A number of road closures are due to hit Toronto this weekend, as several special events, festivals and construction are expected.
If you’re going out this weekend, here’s what you need to know.
EVENTS

Taste of Little Italy: College Street will be closed between Bathurst and Shaw from 3pm on Friday to 10pm on Sunday.

Toronto Waterfront 10K: Lake Shore Boulevard West will be closed Saturday between 4 and 11 a.m. west of Bathurst Street to Windermere Avenue.

Yorkville Exotic Auto Show: Bloor Street West will be closed from Avenue Road to Bay Street on Sunday between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
ACTIVE
The following ActiveTO closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday:

Bayview Avenue will be closed from Rosedale Valley Road to Lauren Harris Square.

River Street will be closed from Bayview Avenue to Spruce Street.

Meadoway will be closed between Brimley Road and Scarborough Golf Club Road.
TTC
There will be no subway line 2 between Jane and Ossington stations this weekend due to rail operation. TTC says shuttles will work.
The transit agency added that there may be adjustments to some TTC bus and tram services to accommodate special events this weekend.

The following road restrictions for critical infrastructure can affect weekend travel:

The south curb of Don Valley Parkway will be closed from Bloor Street to Gerrard Street on Saturday from 12:01 to 6 a.m. to facilitate drilling. Two southern lanes will be preserved.

The southern lane of Don Valley Parkway from Queen Street to Eastern Avenue will be closed Saturday from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. to facilitate drilling. One southern lane will be preserved.

Airports north and south on Yonge Street from the Esplanade to Lake Shore continue to be closed to facilitate ongoing bridge construction. The bike lanes in both directions will be preserved.

Lake Shore North and South access to Simcoe Street is closed, and Lake Shore East and West from Simcoe Street to York Street is reduced to one lane on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to facilitate the replacement of the Enbridge Pipeline. .

Jarvis Street from Carlton Street to Bloor Street East, including Ted Rogers Way, has been reduced to one lane in each direction for road renovations, sidewalk repairs and safety changes at the intersection.

Wellesley Street East from Ontario Street to Sherburn Street is reduced to a western lane for the reconstruction of bike lanes and roads.

Wellington Street from Yonge Street to Church Street has been reduced to a western lane to replace the TTC track and improve the sidewalk.

The Queensway lanes between Parkside Drive and Roncesvalles Avenue have been reduced to a minimum of one shared lane in each direction for King-Queen-Queensway-Roncesvalles TTC track replacement and road reconstruction work. King Street West is also closed at this intersection.
WEATHER
According to Environment Canada, sunny conditions with a maximum temperature of 20 degrees are expected in Toronto on Saturday and Sunday.
