The trailer shows parts of the title in action, including Zack, Cloud and Sephiroth. Just be warned, as this spoils the first part of the remake.
Square confirmed that this will be part of a series of three parts, the finale of which has not yet been revealed. This latest title is also not Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII: Reunion, but it will play a role in the larger vision.

Creative director Tetsuya Nomura also posted a statement about the game via the Twitter account of Final Fantasy VII. In it, he talks about the four titles of Final Fantasy VII and how they play a different role in the game universe. And because he was so involved in developing the original games, he said that “deeply [understands] the vision and thoughts behind each project. ”
After saying that those who have not played the original can also have fun with the new revised series, he said that the development is going quite fast and that he is even working on the third part, a title in which he wants to share appropriate time.
“The development of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has progressed rapidly since we adopted a new development structure. A title on this scale, in which everything is interconnected even before the start of production, is really rare. In fact, some development of the third title has already begun. I started the development myself and am working to complete the series. ”
