There are still hints of Nothing’s bloated smartphone. Nothing further irritated his phone (1) at an event in Switzerland, where his smartphone was actually on display, albeit in a glass box that no one could touch.
Recently, nothing revealed a teaser image on the back of the phone (1), but the demonstration of the event in Switzerland showed that there are also lit LEDs on the back of the smartphone. Thanks to the Swiss YouTuber, Das kann, we get a decent look at the phone (1) in action. The LEDs that appear in the video series with the teaser image that Nothing shared in March, although the video does not show the glow of the largest bar.
Nothing announced its plans for a smartphone in March. Nothing
It is very difficult to say what triggers the lights, but it seems that they could be intended for notifications. Instead of the typical notification of getting buzzing or pinging loudly, you can instead look for a specific light coming out of your phone (1) to see that you have a notification.
Return LEDs – There are other phone manufacturers that still use LEDs on smartphones; The Galaxy of Samsung and even the Oppo Reno 7 Pro. But in general, notification LEDs are not actually present in the more modern design of smartphones.
If a company returns it, it would be nothing. In fact, I’ve seen that luminaires are the preferred choice for those who don’t want to be constantly distracted by vibrations or sounds and prefer the surrounding design instead.
Das kann’s video only shows the phone’s lights (1) flashing white, so we don’t know if it can be programmed for other colors. With no more than some flickering effects, all this is speculation about what the function of the LEDs will actually be.
What we know now – In terms of confirmed specifications, the list is quite shallow, as we only know that there will be a recycled aluminum middle frame, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and supports wireless charging. The transparent back, dual rear cameras and the lack of a chin were further confirmed when Nothing revealed the design of the phone’s back (1). We also got a pretty good look at the future phone launcher of Nothing.

And that’s all. We will have to continue to enjoy the drops of information that Nothing leaves us. That is, until he actually revealed the phone (1) on July 12.
