Police have called for information after a 40-year-old man died in a motorcycle and caravan crash in Berkeley.
The accident happened yesterday (June 17) at about 2.30 pm at the intersection B4066 with Saniger Lane, near Sharpness Docks. A Honda motorcycle and a white Peugeot Boxer motorcycle caravan collided, and the motorcyclist unfortunately died.
The man, who is from the area, was found to have received serious injuries and was found dead on the spot. His relatives and the investigator have been notified.

Roads were closed for several hours while emergency services were on site. There were closed spaces between the Severn Road and Bridge Road roundabouts, Station Road and the B4066 roundabout, and between Saniger Lane and the Oldminster Road junction.
A collision investigation has been carried out and roadblocks were lifted last night. A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing and anyone who has witnessed the incident or has a camera recording has been asked to contact police.”
