Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to have left British taxpayers “annoyed” by their planned move to Windsor this summer, which comes shortly after major renovations to their home in Kensington.
Express UK quoted by royal commentators who believe that British taxpayers are already “annoyed” by Kate and William because they are leaving their home in Kensington Palace for another furnished home, Adelaide Cottage.
Speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast, hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito assessed the general mood among Britons before Kate and Will’s big move shortly after their renovation for £ 12 million at Kensington Palace.
According to Fiorito, Kate and Will’s multimillion-dollar renovations in Kensington were justified because they were thought to remain there for a long time.
“But to have three furnished houses!” “Taxpayers may be a little unhappy about this,” she said.
However, Fiorito, along with fellow host Bowie, acknowledged that moving from Kensington Palace to Cottage Adelaide was a serious “downgrade”.
Fiorito said: “The fact that they are moving to Adelaide Cottage is a shock. This is such a reduced size. It really has a low key. There are only four bedrooms. ”
