Toronto police are investigating three separate shootings in the city on Sunday afternoon, in which one man was killed and three others were injured, including two teenagers.
Ambulances were first called to 121 Humber Boulevard, near Weston Road and Black Creek Drive, at 2:42 p.m.

“This is worrying, especially with the young people who have been shot,” Lee said.
He noted that up to 15 shots were heard in the area.
“We have already talked to many witnesses. As you can see, there are many apartments and town complexes behind us. We want to thank the residents of the community for coming out and helping us with the initial information,” he said.
“I want to reaffirm the fact that we have deployed all available resources in the area to keep the area safe.”
TWO MORE SHOOTING
Around 4:17 p.m., Lee said officers responded to another shooting at Amaranth Court, south of Alan Road and the West Area of Lawrence Avenue.

When they arrived, police found a man with a gunshot wound. Lee said the victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
He is in critical condition.
Minutes later, at 4:24 p.m., police were called in for a third shooting more than two miles down Lotherton Pathway, near Caledonia Road and Lawrence Avenue West.
Upon arrival, officers found a man without vital signs, Lee said. He was later pronounced dead on the spot.
Murder investigators have not been called in to investigate the shooting.

“We have specialized units, our weapons and task forces are stationed, and our neighborhood officers are in the area,” Lee said.
He noted that police still do not have suspicious information about the three shootings.
“It’s hard every day, but especially on Father’s Day, and many of us are fathers. And that’s what happens,” Lee said, calling the shooting “brazen.”
“This is a cause for concern. But we want to reassure the community that we have all the support that has been given to us, the Toronto police, and the victim services to help these families. And we will ensure that the community feels safe and supported during this time. “
Later in the evening, police responded to another shooting in the area of McCowan Road and Milner Avenue. Four people were found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital.
