A man from Edmonton and a man from Wainwright are accused of drug arrest for $ 500,000.
Authorities say the investigation began in 2021, stemming from a previous case of drug trafficking at the Grande Prairie RCMP.
Earlier this year, ALERT officers carried out search warrants at two homes in Edmonton and one in Wainwright, approximately two hours east of the capital.
The seized methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, fentanyl and smuggled tobacco are estimated to have a street value of more than $ 500,000.
Police also seized one pistol, $ 55,000 in cash, switches and three vehicles, including a 2021 Cadillac Escalade.
John McKee, 39, of Edmonton, and Nathan Newman, 28, of Wainwright, were both charged with drug trafficking, possession of drugs for trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and possession of a prohibited device.
Newman is also accused of negligent use of firearms and distribution of tobacco.
