The House of Representatives’ election commission, which is investigating the January 6 attack on the Capitol, has called in a documentary filmmaker who had wide access to Donald Trump and his associates during the crucial days of the last presidential election. Alex Holder, who is believed to have shot Trump and his inner circle for months, starting after the September 2020 campaign, is expected to fully collaborate with the group. The existence of the tapes became clear only with the summons, according to Politico. “We understand that you have raw footage depicting the January 6 attack on President Trump and others discussing the results of the November 2020 presidential election,” the summons said. Holder is then required to hand over all footage taken in Washington, DC on January 6, along with all interviews taken with Trump, his children or Vice President Mike Pence. The summons also requires any “unprocessed personnel related to the discussion of electoral fraud or the integrity of the November 2020 presidential election.
