Firefighters have put out a large fire in Derry tonight.
The fire engulfed several properties on the Dunfield Terrace site in the city. Footage from the scene, shot by local film director Aodan Roberts, shows what looked like a series of properties on fire as firefighters using an escalator pump water into the fire.

There are police and NIFRS on site. Hell engulfed the property and sent plumes and hot smoke into the air.

In recent months, the crashed site has been the scene of some fears, with locals complaining that it has become a scene of antisocial behavior. The properties on the site have remained unfinished for some time.

The fire was eventually contained, leaving a large area smoldering.
Earlier, PSNI said it was “aware of the problems in the area and has dealt with incidents such as anti-social behavior, criminal damage and safety concerns”.
Police and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service have not yet made any statements about the incident.
