Two cyclists were killed after being hit by a vehicle on Walpole Island, police said.
The Lambton County OPP responded to the scene around 5 a.m. with the Chatham-Kent EMS and the Walpole Fire Department.
Police said the cyclists were found dead on the spot and the driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
River Road is currently closed for investigation between Firehall Road and Austin Road.
Police say updates will be provided when they become available.
