The best day of Tom Mann’s life became a day of “irreversible heart.”
The 28-year-old Mann, best known for his role in X Factor in 2014, shared tragic news on Instagram on Monday, saying his beloved future wife never made it to the track on Saturday.
His fiancée Daniel Hampson, 34, died on their wedding day.
Posting a photo of Hampson and their eight-month-old son Bowie, Mann said he could not “believe I was writing these words.”
“My dear Danny – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – died in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 18,” he wrote. “In the one that was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives, it ended with an irreversible heart. I feel like I’ve cried the ocean.
“We never got to the altar; either we have to say our oaths, or I have to dance my first dance, but I know you know that you were my whole world and the best thing that ever happened to me, Daniel.
Mann, who appeared on the singing show as part of the band Stereo Kicks, said their son would give him the “strength” to cope.
“Honestly, I don’t know where to go from here, but I know I have to use all the strength I can muster for our little boy,” he wrote. “I will not be a mark on the parent you have already become, but I promise that I will do my best to raise Bowie just as we always wanted.

The singer / songwriter noted that he was “completely broken trying to process” the tragedy.
“My dear Danny, the brightest light in every room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever, “he concluded.
The cause of Hampson’s death is unknown at this time.

Mann’s former Stereo Kicks colleagues rushed to the comments section to offer their condolences.
“I send everyone my love brother so sorry,” singer Barclay Beals wrote, while Charlie Jones added, “Devastated reading this Tom. Seeing all my love for you and Bowie.
Mann and Hampson were forced to postpone their wedding in August 2020 in two separate cases due to the pandemic.

Mann exploded on the music scene as a participant in the 11th season of X Factor in 2014. He initially auditioned on his own before being placed on Stereo Kicks by the judges.
