Goulds shooting suspect released on parole

One of the two men, accused of a series of recent shootings, has been released from custody.

Twenty-two-year-old Thomas Barnes of Paradise was released on Thursday by agreement after securing two guarantors and promising to meet a number of conditions.

Chaf remains in custody until his next court hearing on July 4th.

He was one of four people involved in a recent gun attack in which a residential building was pelted with bullets and a home was bombed.

Police appealed for any video from the area of Bidgood’s Plaza, Pipeline Road and Petty Harbor Road around 8pm last Sunday night.
