Despite the expected partial clouds in the area tonight, you may want to go out early tomorrow morning and look up to see the Planet Parade before a cloudy sky appears before the chances of a storm over the weekend.
Today we are looking at a day full of sunshine, as temperatures return to the low 90s by this afternoon. Despite the low 90s in the area, the heat index should remain minimal, as we do not look at much humidity in the area. This means that the heat index should not reach these triple figures, as at the beginning of this week.
Tonight you will want to set your alarm to go out early tomorrow morning. Despite the partly cloudy skies, you should still be able to see the parade of planets early tomorrow morning. Just before sunrise tomorrow, 5 planets along with the moon will be visible to the naked eye. The planets will be in order, looking from east to south, starting with Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, along with our moon. This is the first time in 100 years. As the sun begins to rise, the brightness of the planets will either begin to decrease or continue to set below the horizon.
Tomorrow will start with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies in the area and comfortable temperatures around 70 degrees. Until the afternoon, we will continue to oscillate between mostly sunny and partly cloudy, as it travels through parts of central and northern Minnesota for some time. This active weather should deviate from our area, but may lead to additional clouds with temperatures rising to over 80 by the afternoon.
The sky will continue to darken late at night and at night, as rain and thunderstorms are likely to return to the area at night, with temperatures again dropping to around 70 degrees by Saturday morning. On Saturday it will remain mostly cloudy for most of the day, with scattered rainfall and thunderstorms continuing with maximum values that will rise to the low 80 degrees by Saturday afternoon. In the evening and late at night, the sky will gradually begin to clear when temperatures drop to over 50 degrees by Sunday morning.
On Sunday we will see the sunshine return in full swing, but lower temperatures, as they are likely to move in the mid to over 70s until the afternoon. Clear skies will remain around Sunday night as temperatures drop to mid-50 degrees by Monday morning.
Next week we will see mostly sunny skies in the first half of the week with comfortable temperatures ranging in the mid-80s. Conditions will gradually change from the middle to the end of next week, as the clouds will adjust with the possibility of precipitation and thunderstorms on Thursday.
