Trumpworld tells everyone that the promised bomb stories about life in the White House on the former president’s impeachment twice failed readers, a Politico report shows. According to research firm NPD Bookscan, the book by former chief of staff Mark Meadow has sold only 21,569 books. The same can be said for COVID-19 response coordinator Deborah Birks, who sold less than 6,000 copies. The books by Kelian Conway, Stephanie Grisham, Ben Carson and Mark Espers failed to collect more than 42,500 copies sold. “Trump’s memoirs have not gone well since he left office,” one of the publishing house’s top executives told Politico. “Everyone who’s written a book so far has told stories we almost knew.” However, some have been much more successful than others, with former FBI Director James Comey’s book selling 626,810 copies and former national security adviser John Bolton with 680,949.
