The RCMP said an 80-year-old missing man from Deer Lake was found and taken for medical treatment on Thursday.
Clarence Robbins was reported missing Tuesday after failing to return home after going salmon fishing.
Robins’ car was later located on a dirt road near a salmon fishing area outside Cormac.
An RCMP spokesman said they were very pleased to have found Robbins, who had been alone in the woods for two days.
There was no immediate information about his condition.
The search and rescue of Deer Lake and government air services took part in the search effort.
