Sidhu Mus Vala was shot dead in the Mansa district of Punjab on May 29.
Chandigarh:
Singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s song “SYL” was released on his YouTube channel tonight, weeks after his death. The song, released by his team on his official YouTube channel, garnered over a million views within an hour of its release.
SYL, written and sung by Moose Wala, was the first song released after his death. The problem with the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL), Punjab’s right over river waters, and Sikh prisoners drowning in prisons are among the problems highlighted in the song.
The song was released a day after it expired on Wednesday, days after a call from Moose Wala’s family to all music producers not to share or release any of his unfinished tracks with anyone but his father, Balkaur Singh.
Balkaur Singh will take the final call for his son’s upcoming and unpublished works.
After the release of “SYL”, several fans shared emotional messages about the singer in the comments section. One user wrote: “No one can ever replace it …. Always in our hearts …. Keep listening to this song with tears in my eyes …”
“I miss Ustaad. To live in the heart just Bhai. Sidhu Moose Wala Legend JINDJAAN,” wrote another.
