Boris Johnson fears Ukraine will be forced to conclude “bad” peace agreement

Dozens of Russian missiles landed on military sites in western and northern Ukraine on Saturday, local authorities said, as the largest land conflict in Europe since World War II entered its fifth month.

Lviv Oblast Governor Maxim Kozitsky said in a video posted online that six missiles were fired from the Black Sea at the Yavorov base, hitting the base and capturing and destroying two before hitting their target.

Vitaly Bunechko, governor of the Zhytomyr region in the northern part of the country, said that at least one soldier was killed in military strikes.

“Nearly 30 missiles were fired at a military infrastructure site near the town of Zhytomyr,” Bunechko said, adding that nearly 10 missiles had been captured and destroyed.

In the Chernihiv region, also in the north, Governor Vyacheslav Chaus said the small town of Desna was subjected to “massive” missile strikes on Saturday morning. Chaus did not specify what was hit, but said there was “infrastructure damage.” No one was injured, he added.
