The Amber Alert alert, issued by Cape Breton Regional Police on Friday, was canceled because the missing young man was found safely early Saturday morning, police said.
The alert was first sent around 6:40 p.m., stating that the young man was believed to have traveled to Nova Scotia with a 42-year-old woman.

Nova Scotia’s RCMP released an update via social media early Saturday morning that the teenager had been found.
In a statement sent Saturday, police said the two were near the Colchester County highway near Anfield, NS
Police say the woman remains in custody in Anfield, NS, and the teenager is transported back to Glace Bay, NS
