A huge crowd gathered Sunday for the Toronto Pride Parade, which returned after a two-year hiatus of COVID-19.
The city center was full of hundreds of thousands of celebrants and participants. The festivities were expected to continue into the night, with open-air concerts planned on sections of Church Street in Gay Village.
Sherwin Modest, CEO of Pride Toronto, says the parade is the crowning event for the festival over the weekend and the culmination of months of planning.
